Raising the Bar: Parental Involvement Preparing EIS high school students to achieve admittance to the universities of their choice, obtain scholarships and be prepared to succeed academically (and professionally) once they leave Honduras requires the cooperation and effort of three: school, parents, and student. Each has its particular responsibilities; the school must offer quality education, support and resources, parents must guide and encourage their student and in turn the student must complete tasks that fulfill academic requirements.
